Yesterday, we had our first physical meeting since the beginning of this new administration under the leadership of Awwal Omitogun.
This meeting was held in the Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Department of Library and Information Science seminar room. It started with a prayer and a welcoming speech from the president, followed by introductions. The Vice President, Deborah Etim, shed more light on how to become a better speaker. Saheed Salma also emphasized the importance of consistent writing, Members were asked to give impromptu speeches on what they’ve learnt so far from our webinars and Ebony gave a wonderful performance dedicated to women.
